He is survived by: his wife Connie Slater of Milan; his children, Kelly Atkins (Rick) of Andalusia and Craig Slater of Viola; his grandchildren, Sara Dekeyrel (Mike), Nathan Slater and Travis Atkins (Felicia); and his great grandchildren, Carsen, Cain, Callen, Addison Dekeyrel, Elliana and Olivia Atkins.
