She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Ferkel and Bertha Ferkel (Henrichs); and her brothers, Wallace Ferkel Russell Ferkel, Leroy Ferkel, Ronald Ferkel, Donald Ferkel and Clifford Ferkel.
She is survived by: her husband Gene Walters; her sibling Euchre; her daughters, Linda Wood (Jim), Peggy Wheeler (Lew) and Connie VanTieghem (Darin); her grandchildren, Cristal Manning (Rob), Nick Wood (Sarah), Amber Mettee (Todd), Justin Welvaert (Samie), Cambria Davies, Camron Davies and Nicole VanTieghem; and her sisters, Janice Rowan, Shirley Ferkel, Alberta Hinkhouse, Leone Thode, Evelyn Immosoete, Delores Boyd and Ethyl VandeWoestyne. She is also survived by Her family consisted of six brothers and seven sisters.
