He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon A. DeMeyer and Marie E. DeMeyer (Wood); his wife Sharon A. Seibert; and his sisters, Crystal Nelson and Diane Ortscheid.
He is survived by: his children, Stephanie Irwin (Jay) of Taylor Ridge, IL and Scott DeMeyer (Holly); his grandchildren, Logan Goetz-Irwin (Jesse), Grace Grems (Noah), Trey DeMeyer (Kallie), Hunter DeMeyer, Cassidy DeMeyer, Jacob Irwin (Liz), Tyler Irwin (Laura), Michael Corsiglia and Alexandra Anderson; his great grandchildren, T. J., Oakley, Jack, Colin, Carter and Versai; and his siblings, Sally Swanson (Bettendorf) and Donald DeMeyer (Kay).
