He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Long (Deke) and Mary Long of Milford; his brother Steve Long; and his niece Jamie Stover. He is survived by: his children, Melanie Schultz of Pekin, IL, Stephanie Brown of Urbana, IL and Dustan Long of Sturtevant, WI.; his grandchildren, Austin, Jacob, Emma, Kolby, Katlynne, Kaleb, Konner, Andon, Sydnee and Harper; his great grandchildren, Sam, Evalee, Paislee and Addison; his sisters, Debbie Kennedy of Milford, IL, Cindy Stover of Paxton, IL and Jo Ellen Travis (Josh) of Edmond, OK.; his nieces, Dayna (Michael) and Kimberly; his great-nieces, Kinley, Aariana and Aubree; his nephews, Jason (Miranda), Cole, Cade (Georgie) and Cort (Abby); and his great-nephew AJ.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Milford Christian Church (811 E Hickory St, Milford, IL 60953).
