It is with sadness that the passing of William J. Schell of Milledgeville, Illinois is shared. William, born on September 4, 1953, passed away on June 29, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
William will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor William by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though William is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. William’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Schell and Rosella Schell (Baer); and his wife Linda Wiersema. He is survived by: his children, Christy Gallentine (Brad Bush) of Morrison, Tammy Chino (Angel) of Sterling and Wesley Schell (Tricia) of Mahomet; and his siblings, Gloria Jost (Gary) and John Schell (Janice) of Chadwick. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established to the Carroll County Fairgrounds.
