He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the George Renner & Sons Funeral Home (120 N Illinois St, Belleville, IL 62220). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A procession was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 9:45 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery (2900 Sheridan Rd, St. Louis, MO 63125).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Belleville Area Humane Society or the Disabled American Veterans.
