She was loved and cherished by many people including : her husband Tom Mentzer; her children, Michelle "Shelley" Shipp (Kevin, family: Madison Grohne, Katie Fabbro, Cam Shipp) and Brian Mentzer (Jennifer, family: Will, Chase, Connor); her sister-in-law Shirley Mentzer; her nieces and nephews, DeAnn Smith (Rob), Todd Hayes (Amy), Paul Mentzer (Stacy), Craig Mentzer (Joan) and Chris Mentzer (Tracy); and her close friend Lana Duncan.

As a result of the pandemic, regular "driveway" gatherings began and stood the test of time.
