He is survived by: his sons, Andrew (Carrie Matecki) and Timothy Matecki; his grandchildren, Chase Matecki, Jackson Matecki, Presley Matecki and Vivian Matecki; his significant other Judy Sikes; his brothers, Brian Matecki (JoLynn) of Millstadt, IL, Jeff Matecki (Shawn) of Ashley, IL and Eric Matecki of Millstadt, IL; his nephews, Tony Matecki (Michele) of Waterloo, IL, Mitchell Matecki (Emily) of Millstadt, IL, Lucas Matecki (Alexandria) of Columbia, IL and Dustin Matecki of Ashley, IL; and his godson Austin Matecki of Ashley, IL. He is also survived by numerous great nieces and great nephews; other relatives and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hoffen Funeral Home (220 W Washington St, Millstadt, IL 62260). A prayer will be held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
