The memory of Shirley M. Simmonds (Millstadt, Illinois), who passed away on July 5, 2025 at the age of 83, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her brothers, Walter A. Schaller Jr. and Melvin J. Schaller; and her siblings-in-law, Ronnie Simmonds, Harold MacAdoo and Betty Simmonds (Schilling).
She is survived by: her husband Norman H. Simmonds; her sons, Michael (Jamie), Douglas (Kelly) and David Simmonds; her grandchildren, Amanda Wolff (Ryan), Lauren, Emily (Avery), Nicholas and Hannah Simmonds; her great grandchildren, Nolan Ryan, Nora Wolff and Daxton Ponder; and her sister-in-law Betty MacAdoo. She is also survived by many loving cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Millstadt Senior Center or a charity of the donor's choice.
