The memory of Penny Yvonne (Pond) Craig of Mineral, Illinois, who passed away on June 12, 2025 at the age of 65, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her father Calvin Pond; her husband John Craig; her great-niece Isabella Pond; and her grandparents, Emmett, Goldie Sawyers, Calvin and Noomia Pond.
She is survived by: her close friend Wade Schwanke of Mineral; her mother Wanda Stanfield (Kenneth); her siblings, Mark Pond (Carol), Paula Mayes of Princeton and Julie Vocke (John) of Sheffield; her stepdaughter Kiyomi Craig; her grandsons, Dominic, Samuel (Andrea), Johnathan Waddle, Randall and Dylan Heinz; and her great grandchildren, Delila and Anthony Heinz.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the New Hope Church of the Nazarene (30 N 6th St, Princeton, IL 61356). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be directed to St. Judes Children's Research Hospital.
