He was predeceased by: his brother Larry. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Stear of Minier; his children, Troy Stear (Tammy) of Indiana, Jennifer Stear of Hanna City and Julie Stear of Hanna City, Illinois; his stepchildren, Darah Schall (Richard) of Norris, Donya Tetrault (Stephanie) of Thawville and Dustin Tetrault (Kathy); and his sibling Bridges (Montana). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Knapp-Johnson Funeral Home (140 S Detroit Ave, Morton, IL 61550). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Hirstein Cemetery (22575 Hirstein Rd, Morton, IL 61550).
