With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John W Litwiller of Minier, Illinois, born in Bloomington, Illinois, who passed away on November 10, 2022 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Litwiller and Vera Litwiller (Slabaugh); his brothers, Fred and Kenneth Litwiller; and his siblings-in-law, Leota Springer (Paul), Marie Oyer (Wilmer "Bud"), Velda Birky (Joe), Norma Nafziger (Merle), Carolyn Kutzner and Lowell Birkey (Florence).
He is survived by: his wife Joan Birkey; his children, Kimi Maier (Mike) of Ahwatukee, AZ, Amy Sharp (Doug) of Tempe, AZ, Brad Litwiller (Angie) of Shipshewana, IN, Tami Kachelmuss (Craig) of Heyworth, IL and Joni Milligan (Michael) of Minier, IL; and his grandchildren, Mason, Kali, Sydney Maier, Carson, Ally, Sarah Sharp, Cody, Drew, Evan Litwiller, Abby, Sam Kachelmuss, Kaitlin, Luke and Jack Milligan.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Hopedale Mennonite Church or OSF Eastern Region Hospice.
