Kathleen A. Gjerde Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathleen A. Gjerde of Minooka, Illinois, who passed away on March 25, 2026 at the age of 75. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Kathleen A. Gjerde to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her father Vincent Farrell; her husband Terry Gjerde; her sister Barbara Spack (Tim); and her pet Muttley. She is survived by: her mother Cecelia Farrell (Cepiel); her children, Eric Gjerde (Elizabeth) of Princeton, IL and Heidi Beck (Shawn) of Minooka, IL; her stepgrandchildren, Reiter Bird (Ashley) and Reece Bird; her great grandchild Evelyn Blu Bird; and her sister Marrietta Johnson (Larry). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Morris VFW (309 McKinley St, Morris, IL 60450).
