He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Etter and Edith Ward Etter; and his sister Dorothy Etter. He is survived by: his children, Lisa Thompson (John) of Greenfield and Lynn Etter (Karen) of Carlinville; his grandchildren, Jacob Armold (Taylor) of Roodhouse, Zachary Etter (Ellen) of Carlinville and Rachel Armold of Greenfield; his great grandchildren, Isabelle, Pat Armold of Roodhouse, Raymond and Warren Etter of Carlinville; and his sisters, Mary Etter of Waverly and Alice Hayes (Warren) of Godfrey.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Stults - Neece Funeral Home (201 N Main St, Palmyra, IL 62674). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the Athensville Baptist Church and sent to Stults-Neece Chapel, 349 E. Tanner, Waverly, Il. 62692.
