He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Lorraine; and his children, Mike Targosz (Susan) of Homer Glen, Rae Phillips of Frankfort, Tom Targosz (Kim) of Homer Glen, Ken Targosz (Failin) of Phoenix, AZ, Mary Nagel (Howard) of Mokena, Sandy Hutchinson (Randy) of New Lenox and Susan A. Targosz. He was also cherished by 7 children, 19 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary Church (19515 115th Ave, Mokena, IL 60448). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 at 12:45 PM at the Resurrection Cemetery (7200 Archer Rd, Justice, IL 60458).
