He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lago and Frances Del Lago; and his brother Nicholas Del Lago. He is survived by: his wife Sue DeLago; his children, Julie Carco (Frank), Jennifer DeLago (Tommy Shaw), Joseph Jr. DeLago (Sonya), Alexander DeLago (Michelle) and Anthony DeLago; and his grandchildren, Toni-Marie Crinigan (Zach), Santino "Sonny" Carco, Kayden DeLago, Mason DeLago, Dominic DeLago, Benjamin DeLago, Lucas DeLago and Joseph DeLago III.
