He was predeceased by : his parents, Nicholas G. Sobol and Emily A. Sobol. He is survived by : his wife Shirley; his children, Jeanne Sobol (Cindy), Nancy Van Vlerah (Roger) and Scott Sobol (Theresa); his sister Delores Spain (James); his grandchildren, Kristen Zelek (Joe), Vicki Nemeczek (Ryan) and Matthew Sobol (Katie); and his great grandchildren, Celine Zelek and Vanessa Sobol. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

The family asks that remembrances be made in Norman's name to the charity of your choice.
