Though Ronald may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Ronald touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Smuszkiewicz and Mary Smuszkiewicz (Tupta); and his siblings, Vickie Jo Smuszkiewicz and Robert Smuszkiewicz (late Patricia). He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Smuszkiewicz (Falejczyk); and his niece Nicole Pfeiffer (James).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kurtz Memorial Chapel (65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
