He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Stacey Smith; his children, Paige Elizabeth Nygaard (Claire), Jacob Matthew Smith (Bridget), Blaise Matthew Smith and Ty Patrick Smith; his grandchildren, Logan and Brooklyn; his parents, Margaret Smith and John Smith; his siblings, Tim Smith (Karen), Megan Smith Roe, Eileen Gavlin (Terry) and Brendan Smith; his children, Emily, Elizabeth, Melissa and Michael Tarrant; and his friend Marty Bradley.
