He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Behncke and Dorothy Behncke (Vogt); his son-in-law Mark Zude; and his brother Roger Behncke. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Mahan; his children, Deborah Spilker (Lewis), Terry Behncke, Laurie Zude, Jodi Behncke (Tim) and Bryce Behncke; his grandchildren, Lewis Spilker (Angie), Jeremy Spilker, Sheri Novak (Mike), Michael LaFountaine (Ashley) and Kelsey Fisher (Preston); and his siblings, Larry Behncke, Dale Behncke, Maxine Freymiller, Nancy Schramm, Jeanette Ward and MaryAnn Stappert. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
