She was predeceased by: her parents, Sherwood Costigan and Veronica Costigan (Kelly). She is survived by: her children, Anne V. Steckel (Brett Frazier) and John Steckel; her granddaughter Veronica; and her cousin Mary Ann Hofer.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church or to Quad City Animal Welfare Center.
