He was predeceased by: his parents, James Sconyers and Helen Sconyers. He is survived by: his cousin Wanda; his wife Novella; his children, Jennifer, Eric and Adrienne; his brother Douglas; and his mother-in-law Margaret. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorials may be made to the family, for a fund to be established.
