We are sad to announce that, on April 17, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Barbara Clauson (Moline, Illinois), born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Trigg and Sarah Swanson (Darland); her former husband James M. Thompson; and her husband Richard K. Clauson. She is survived by: her sons, David T. Thompson (Frances) of New Orleans and Michael J. Thompson (Chris) of Frankford, Delaware; her grandchildren, David and Laura Thompson; and her siblings, Charles Swanson (Pat), Kathy Alderson (Wayne) and Jane Swanson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and five step-children.

Memorials may be made to Christ Church, Moline.

“In loving memory of Barbara Clauson, Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. I met Trigg our jr. year in high school. Our friendship never wavered. We had a fun vacation in the Ozarks in 1953. Outings with others at the quarry in Milan. Sounds dangerous but was safe and fun. Through the years we met for lunch once a month to share our stories.”
