She was predeceased by: her husband Marvin Lassen; her granddaughter Elise Lassen Dondanville; and her siblings, Marvin Dowd, Katherine Turner and Bonna Combs.

She is survived by: her daughters, Shirley Gusta (Ronald) of Eldridge and Deborah Lassen-Ealy (Neil Ealy) of Moline; her grandchildren, Aaron Michael Gusta, Eva Schmid (Matt) and Louis "Alex" Dondanville (Jade); her great grandchild Bennett Schmid; her extended family, Jeff Gusta (Leigh), James Ealy (Jennifer) and Tara Ealy (Tiffany); Austin Gusta (Callie), Aidan Gusta, Alyssa, Zander, Bentley and Avery.
