He was predeceased by: his parents, Dudley Schanfish and Ida Mae Schanfish (Philyaw); his wife Nellie Marie Burns; his siblings, Ed, Pauline Woodell, Barbara Love (Jigs) and Raymond; his sisters-in-law, Nellwyn Burns and Pat Schanfish; his children-in-law, Fred Hann and Leinese Schanfish; his grandson Brad Hann; and his great grandchild Jarrade Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Carol Hann, Randy (Beki), Larry, Ron (Wendy), Chuck (Judi) and Kevin (Serena); and his brother Kenneth. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory (6601 38th Ave, Moline, IL 61265). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
