He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles M. Rudiger and Lora Rudiger (Thomas); his spouse Bertie Gooch; and his sister Beulah Thomas. He is survived by: his children, Charles A. Rudiger, Jr. of Moline and Roberta L. Rudiger of Moline.

Memorials may be made to Riverside United Methodist Church, Moline, where he was a member.
