Though Charles may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Charles leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie C. Hanson and Alene Burress Hanson; his wife Jean Gordon; and his son Charles R. Hanson. He is survived by: his children, Stephen Hanson (Joyce) of Naples, FL, Pamela Hanson of Santa Cruz, CA and Terry (Shelley) of East Moline, IL. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory - Rock Island (3030 7th Ave, Rock Island, IL 61201). A memorial service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the family and will be given to a charity that will be chosen at a later date.
