He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Johnson and Dorothy Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Janis Johnson; his children, Kristin Purtell (Steve), Eric Johnson (Shari), Tim Johnson and Lynn Gripp (John); his stepchildren, Lauren Stottler (Nick) and Amy Boe (Blake); his grandchildren, Ashly, Emily, Hannah, Madison, Andrew, Alex, Ethan, Jonathan, Chris and Dominic; and his pet Denali.
