He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Nelson and Ardith Nelson (Hilmer). He is survived by: his children, Thomas Nelson of Plainfield, IL and Mariah Nelson of Aurora, IL; and his siblings, Roger Nelson, Joyce McCutcheon and Carol Nelson.
