With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Claudette C. Swensson of Moline, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Claudette left this world on October 12, 2025 at the age of 87, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frances Carolyn (Almquist) and Claude Clifford Atwell, Sr.; her husband Don; her daughter Karla Swensson Brandt; and her siblings, Dianne Orendorff, Claude Atwell, Jr. and Maurice Atwell.
She is survived by: her daughter Heather; her son-in-law Michael Locander of Moline; and her granddaughters, Janey and Alison Locander. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home (701 12th St, Moline, IL 61265). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Trimble Funeral Home (701 12th St, Moline, IL 61265). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home (701 12th St, Moline, IL 61265). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Greenview Memorial Gardens (1201 Avenue of the Cities, East Moline, IL 61244).
Memorials may be made to the family for a fund to be established in Claudette's memory.
