It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dale Riggins of Moline, Illinois, born in Stronghurst, Illinois, who passed away on January 27, 2026, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Riggins and Hazel Riggins; his wife Sandra J. Riggins; his siblings, Fern Farmer and Robert Riggins; and his siblings-in-law, Barbera Lundberg, Dr. Leo Lundberg and Larry Hartman.
He is survived by: his children, Kim McKellar (Richard) of San Diego, California, Daniel Riggins (Catherine), Dr. Ronald Riggins (Amy) of Moline, Illinois and Carrie Pheiffer (Steve) of Fraser, Michigan.; his grandchildren, Olivia Halom (Ben), Isaac Riggins, Samuel Riggins, Anna Riggins, Grace McCune (Dillon) and Abigail Pheiffer; his great grandchild Desmond McCune; his siblings, Jerry Riggins and Karen Hartman; and his niece Rose Fugate. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.
