We announce the death of Darlene M. Bellmyer of Moline, Illinois, born in Buffalo, Iowa, who passed away on July 2, 2026, at the age of 86. Darlene will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Darlene will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Darlene will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Darlene’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her husband Shultze Fran Bellmyer; her brother Richard Rauch; and her nephew Tim Barnett. She is survived by: her sons, Jeff Bellmyer (Patti) of Moline and Jerry Bellmyer (Lisa) of Cowley, Wyoming; her sisters, Sharlene Beard, Carol Bond and Kathy Heitzler; her niece Cindy Martin; and her daughter-in-law Linda Gerard. She is also survived by five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
