We announce the death of Debra J. Fortin of Moline, Illinois, who passed away on August 20, 2026, at the age of 73. Debra will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Merle W. File and Luanna J. File (Wilson). She is survived by: her husband David A. Fortin; her children, Derek Fortin (Libbey) and Sarah Thieme (Uriah); her grandchildren, Noah, Griffin, Micah, Makennah, Joyce and Xavier; and her siblings, Kris File and Jon File. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
