He was predeceased by: his parents, Owen Griffin and Ruth Griffin (Case); his wife Elinor Jane Griffin (Larson); and his son Steven Griffin. He is survived by: his sons, Bruce Griffin (Mary) of Moline, Michael Griffin (Joni) of Moline and Mark Griffin (Julia) of Moline; his daughter-in-law Lisa Griffin; and his grandchildren, Michael Griffin (Tatum), Eric Griffin (Jennifer), Katie Trent (Jason), Stefanie Cooper, Brett Griffin (Cara), Christopher Griffin (Scott Rexroat), Amanda DeLaCruz (Jason), Daniel Griffin (Lindsay) and Emily Stene (Charles). He is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
