She was predeceased by: her parents, James Ruland and Helen Ruland (Morton); her husband Dave; her sister Lois Abbott; and her grandson Nathaniel Hamilton.

She is survived by: her children, Mike Chyma of Moline, Tim Chyma (Tara) of Ripon, WI and Deb Hamilton (Neil) of Orion, IL.; her grandchildren, Lauren, Morgan, Carley Chyma, Jacob, Nick and Josh Hamilton; her sister Iona Gollick (George) of Heber, AZ; and her pet Charlie. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
