It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Gordon Olson (Moline, Illinois), who passed away on February 17, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Joan Fant; his children, Christopher Olson (Jen Strombeck) of Kissimmee, FL, Elizabeth McKee (Charly Capps) of East Moline, IL, Katherine Stringer (Justin) of Springfield, MO and Andrew Olson (Brooklyne) of Rogers, MN; his grandchildren, Corbin McKee, Gwyn McKee, Charlotte Stringer and Theodore Stringer; his great grandchild Theodore Edwards-McKee; his sister Barbara McWhorter (Robert) of Portage, MI; his niece Sharon Mais; his nephew Robert McWhorter; and his caregiver Mary Garza (Phil).
Memorials may be made to First United Presbyterian Church, the Alzheimer's Association, or the American Diabetes Association.
