He was predeceased by: his parents, Earnest Maitlen and Grace Maitlen (Dencker); his siblings, Lester, Robert, Betty, Dorthy, Alvira and Doris; his children-in-law, Kurtis Kruger and Evelyn Maitlen; and his great grandchildren, Asher and Elsie.
He is survived by: his wife Pat; his children, Alan Maitlen (Diane), Kerry Maitlen (Tricia), Pamela Hofstetter (Michael), Hampton, Faith Kruger and Timothy Maitlen; and his brother Gene Maitlen (Geri). He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Faith Walk World Outreach Center, Silvis.
