It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elsie Rodts of Moline, Illinois, born in Warrington, England, who passed away on August 15, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Rankin and Maggie Rankin (Clare); her husband Robert E. Rodts; her daughter Denise Sherril; and her siblings, Alice, Susanna, Olivia, Alfred, Maud, James, Percy and Margaret.
She is survived by: her son Robert J. Rodts; her grandchildren, Erin Payne (Ron), Sarah Furnari (Mike), Lucas Rodts (Stacie), Violet, Jack, Georgia, Dashiell, Ivy, Charlotte and Trey; her son David Rodts (Sylvia); her grandchildren, Brandon (Cristina), Selena, Evan Rodts (Sierra), Alexandra, Spencer and Scott; her daughter Valerie Yazbec (John); her grandchildren, Nicholas (Ashley), Peter (Jessica), Ian Yazbec (Ashley), Addison, Rowan, Makenna, Finnigan, Sawyer, Maylee and Nolan; her son James Rodts (Katie) of Grant, FL; her grandchildren, Michael (Stacey), Andrew (Kelly), Benjamin (Karen), Megan Rodts, Savannah, Hunter, Nora and Dexter; her sons, Steven Rodts (Victoria) of Commerce Township, MI and Joseph Rodts; and her siblings-in-law, Ed Rodts and Judy Rodts. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
