She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Verdegem and Vera Irene Verdegem (Carlson); her husband James Schorpp; her stepmother Magdeline Verdegem (Frisk); her son-in-law Dan Duyvejonck; and her son Kent Clifford.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Duyvejonck of Moline, Jill Taylor (John) of East Moline, Doug Schorpp of Davenport and John Schorpp of Moline; her grandchildren, Carrie Zozzaro (John), Jeff Duyvejonck (Alicia), Gail Taylor, Seth Taylor and Kyle Taylor (Cynthia); and her half-sisters, Kathleen Franklin (Gene) and Judy Bartlett (Neil). She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
