With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Forrest B. Mayne of Moline, Illinois, who passed away on January 23, 2026 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Forrest may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Forrest touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest Mayne and Hazel Mayne (Carr); and his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Long. He is survived by: his children, Richard Lee Mayne, Edward Dean Mayne, Cynthia Lynn Mayne, Forrest Robert Mayne, Paula Ray Mayne Pittington and Mary Kay Millington. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
