He is survived by: his niece Heather Nelson (Stuart); his nephews, Dennis Woodward Jr. and Philip Woodward; his brother-in-law Dennis Woodward Sr.; and his sister Ann Stuart.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory. The inurnment will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at the Rock Island Memorial Park Cemetery (5001 34th Ave, Moline, IL 61265).

Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or the Drake University General Fund.
