It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary M. Stimpson of Moline, Illinois, born in Gardner, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 28, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas E. Stimpson and Ruthmarie Lange Stimpson. He is survived by: his wife Ricki Stimpson; his daughters, Emily Chapman (Christopher), Penn, Annmarie Shrake (Andy) and Sara Weeks (Nathan); his grandchildren, Emma, Lily, Charlie Shrake, Jackson, Luke Weeks, Tobias, Becket and Eleanore Chapman; his siblings, Dennis J. Stimpson (Linda), Theresa Stimpson, Mary Knox, Suzie Budde (Dan) and Patty Wilson (Phil); and his friends, Charley, Mary Arnold, Ron, Kay Cabay, Kathleen Kennedy, Larry and Linda Moore. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.

Memorials may be made in care of Alleman High School.
