With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gloria Gomez of Moline, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 15, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Gomez; her parents, Teofilo Valdez and Julia Valdez; and her siblings, Marion Guzman, Rita Edwards and Teofilo "Teo" Valdez.
She is survived by: her children, Mario Gomez, Joseph Gomez, Damean Gomez, Regina Gomez and Blanca Mejia (Adalberto); and her siblings, Rick Edwards, Mona Delgado and Flora Valdez.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Schroder Mortuary - Silvis (701 1st Ave, Silvis, IL 61282). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 at the Greenview Memorial Gardens (1201 Avenue of the Cities, East Moline, IL 61244).
