She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald McDowell and Katherine McDowell (Morrow); and her son Kenneth Scott Maranda. She is survived by: her children, Kathy Ryckeghem, Kim Simpson, Kelly Pierce (Mike), Darrin Maranda and Katie Morgan. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the D.A.V or the Rock Island County Humane Society.
