He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Horstmann and Agnes Horstmann of Calamus, Iowa.; and his brother Robert Horstmann (Helen). He is survived by: his grandchildren, Erik Nelson (Laura), Kristen Brophy (Chip), Peter Nelson, Trevor Horstmann, Alison Norris and Gareth Norris; and his great grandchildren, Quinn Brophy and Caroline Brophy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, friends, and former coworkers.
