He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Meenan and Katherine Meenan (Hood); his wife Claudia Lier; his children, Ben Meenan, Tyler Murphy (Jen) of Dallas, TX and Kaity Scavone (Tony) of Wheaton, IL; his grandchildren, Matteo and Isla; and his siblings, Sheila Meenan (Tom Slabisak), Michael Meenan (Lori) of Henderson, NV, Mark Meenan (Charlotte) of Dexter, IA, Kevin Meenan (Jacqui) of South Lake, TX, Terry Meenan (Ginny) of Evanston, IL and Shawn Meenan (Laurie). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Rebuilding Together Henry County, the Michael J. Fox Foundation or the Jim Meenan Memorial Fund held at Moline Regional Community Foundation.
