James Phillips Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Phillips of Moline, Illinois, who passed away on January 24, 2026 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmo Phillips and Mildred Phillips; his wife Jane Shambaugh; his sister Glenna; and his sister-in-law Nancy Shambaugh.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Candice Dittman (Tyler) of Washington, IL, Michael Phillips, Emily Phillips, Nataleigh Phillips and Noelle Phillips of Florida; his brother John Phillips (Janie) of Taylor Ridge, IL; and his brothers-in-law, Walt Shambaugh (Kathy) and Bob Shambaugh. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
