She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Hauger and Gladys Hauger (Gourley); her husband Clifford R. Bates; and her brother Paul. She is survived by: her children, Alice Blankenfeld, George Bates (Linda), Curtis Bates and Scott Bates; and her brother Arnold Hauger (Marita). She is also survived by six grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
