It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeannette M. Woodard of Moline, Illinois, born in Letts, Iowa, who passed away on October 20, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Arthur and Winifred Lieberknecht (Shellabarger); and her husband Truman K. Woodard. She is survived by: her children, Missy (Bill Bailey), Craig (Susan Woodard), Eric Woodard of Punta Gorda and Nicholas Woodard of Port Byron; and her grandchildren, Jonathan Bailey, Laura Palowski (Dominik), Mark Bailey (Kari Williams), Matthew Ressler and Catherine Mandle (Ryan).
An innate resourcefulness and technical proficiency enabled her to maintain ties with family and friends during a lengthy COVID lockdown.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorials be made to Riverside United Methodist Church, Moline.
