He was predeceased by: his father Eugene W. Reem. He is survived by: his wife Christine Ontiveros; his children, Jenny VanZuyt and Jeffrey VanZuyt; his mother JoAnn Reem (Orion); and his siblings, Debra DeCrane Abingdon (Dennis) and Stephen Reem (Candy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Judes Children's Hospital.
